GeLang BeLLa is an evaluation for the ‘Healthy – for a lifetime’ initiative, with the the aims of networking between projects of the funding program, offer scientific support, and to contributing to consensus processes. In total, 174 single projects and subprojects as part of consortia are being funded. They address the specific health concerns of the following groups: children and young people, men and women, the working population as well as older people. The evaluation identifies  central overarching themes such as participatory approaches, gender senitivity, patient-reported outcomes, complex interventions and the transfer of research results to practiceand examines how these are operationalized in different study designs and depending on the target group. The development and provision of needs-based networking and information should contribute to the success of the funding initiative. With consensus processes good practice recommendations are to be derived.
