Traveling Exhibition “Gender-Sensitive Medicine” Starting August 17 at the Ministry of Science, Energy, Climate Protection, and the Environment
The Ministry of Science, Energy, Climate Protection, and the Environment of the State of Saxony-Anhalt will present the traveling exhibition “Gender-Sensitive Medicine” starting August 17, 2026 at its offices at Leipziger Straße 58 in Magdeburg.
The exhibition will be opened on August 17, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. by State Secretary Thomas Wünsch and University Professor Dr. med. Ute Seeland.
It is a collaboration between members of the German Association of Women Physicians (Deutscher Ärztinnenbund e. V.) and the German Society for Gender-Specific Medicine (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Geschlechterspezifische Medizin e. V.). Twelve large-format posters present the differences in clinical presentations and health risks between women and men in a way that is easy to understand. Topics covered include cardiovascular diseases, osteoporosis, and ME/CFS.
The goal of the exhibition is to raise awareness of gender-specific differences in medicine and to convey the importance of gender-sensitive healthcare.
